Searching for the best playground.

Having a two year old sister means that she needs to be constantly entertained and taken to new places.

My mother, being the over-enthusiastic parent loves searching for what she calls the "best playgrounds."

One hot 35 degree day, we decided to venture off to the suburb of Blacktown.
I had been there before and I highly doubted that there was going to be the "best playground" there.

I was mistaken.

We arrived at somewhere called Francis Park aka Blacktown Showground Precinct.
It's quite close to the station if you need to get there via public transport.
But even if you drive, there's ample parking so if you have kids, driving isn't a bad idea either.

The park itself is SO clean and tidy. They've planned it very well and executed the display amazingly!

This is just one part of the playground the kids can enjoy:

There are so many features to this playground but as a teen mum I know what mums look for in a park in summer time.

1. Water play 
2. Ample amounts of shade
3. Extra playgrounds because kids get bored easily
4. Visibility so they can keep their eyes on their kids at all times

And I am happy to announce that this park meets all four expectations.

IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE.

Personally, I think the main attraction to this park is the water play area.

The water park at this park  is fully covered by shade which means the kids can have fun with the water whilst being fully protected from the sun AND the mum can just sit on the side and watch.

If you're not a parent, I don't think you'll understand how AMAZING this is.

It's every parents dream come true.

Of course two year old sister Lydia loved this place. It combines the two things she loves most, water and playground.

It's 100% worth checking out any time of the year! (But the water play area does close during winter)
