So I'm guessing you have read the title.
And thought "Is she one of those girls on the TV program 16 and Pregnant?"
Sorry to burst your bubble but no. I did not have a baby or anything of the sort in my teens.
But before we go any further, let me give you a little bit of a background into my family and it's members.
My mum and my dad are Korean, born and raised.
That's where my brother who is currently 18 and myself (20) were born.
However, my biological father passed away when I was five which then saw our family of mum, my brother and myself to move to New Zealand.
That's where my mum met her current husband who is a kiwi.
After being together for many years in NZ, we moved to Australia in 2010 and then the next year, she did something that not many women at the age would do,
She got pregnant.
My mother, the great woman she is decided to do the whole parenting thing again at the ripe old age of 43 right after she put her oldest child (me) through high school.
Yes, high school. Which means I was 18 when my little sister Lydia was born. EIGHTEEN.
Which means she literally finished raising one child and then decided to start all over again. Funny huh?
But this isn't the end of the story. Then two years after having my younger sister Lydia, she decided to pop another out. So out popped another baby called Hannah right after my brother finished high school.
Once again, she finished raising another child then started all over again. Crazy woman.
This blog will take you through my parenting experiences as a "teen mum."
It won't be like all the other parenting blogs where 30+ year old women discuss parenting.
Cause no one actually likes those.
It's my perspective as a young mum, who's not actually a mum.
